The 2015 Global Entrepreneurship Week campaign engaged hundreds of thousands of people in the possibilities of entrepreneurship. IN the UK 411 partners organised more than 2,000 events which were attended by more than 250,000 people!
We encouraged entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs to get connected - the focus is to create meaningful change in behaviour and empower more people to start a business.
Across the UK, The University of South Wales, Young Enterprise Scotland, Entrepreneurs Unite (Portsmouth) and Plymouth Enterprise Week all hosted their own local launch events.
Activities in the campaign included the "Get Connected" debate @ The Telegraph, Succes in the City by Enterprise Catalyst, Start-up Saturday by Enterprise Nation and the Enterprise Conference 2014 by Enterprise North East Trust.
Also, for the first time, Global Entrepreneurship Week placed a special focus on women around the world, through a global celebration of women entrepreneurs, which was celebrated in 144 countries around the globe.
