Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is the world’s biggest celebration of entrepreneurship - and it is back in the UK for 2016. This week long festival of live events taking place throughout the country celebrates and cultivates our national entrepreneurship ecosystem and helps people at every stage of their entrepreneurial journey get the help they need.
From the 14-20 November, Global Entrepreneurship Week inspires people everywhere through local, national and global activities designed to help them explore their potential as self-starters and innovators. These activities, from large-scale competitions and events to intimate networking gatherings, connect participants to potential collaborators, mentors and even investors—introducing them to new possibilities and exciting opportunities.
This year, GEWUK is joining forces with a group of leading enterprise and entrepreneurship organistions to provide participants and hosts with targetted content and support in the areas that are of most importance for entrepreneurs. We're helping the UK map their entrepreneurial journey. Find out more about the GEW Compass Points throghout the site.
Last year in the UK over 500 partner organisations hosted around 2,500 events that reached more than 340,000 entrepreneurial people across the country.
If there’s ever a time to make it happen, it’s during Global Entrepreneurship Week!
